I wouldn't say this is a blog about Ohio. I mean, it happens in Ohio. It is Ohio-ish. I guess I think Ohio is more than itself to me. When I first moved here, I was sure I could never love this flat, land-locked existence of humidity and college football and months and months of gray icy winter. But somehow, it has wormed its moist little self into my heart and taught me that home is both where you are and what you take with you when you leave.  So welcome to an Ohio-ish blog about things that matter to me - both Ohio-ish and non. 

I acknowledge that this IS a picture of me in  the state of Ohio and it is sunny, warm, and virtually cloudless so clearly...miracles do happen. This picture shall sustain me through the long, terrible months of January and February.
